1993 (Pilot)
"1993" is a single camera comedy set in early 90's Los Angeles that follows Ramiro - a chubby and precocious eleven year old latinx boy who thinks he is gonna be a child star, despite the startling evidence to the contrary. When his Uncle Paul moves in (who is struggling with the early stages of HIV) Ramiro is flung into a journey of self discovery and crushing brutalities embedded in adolescence. Partly autobiographical, "1993" is a coming of age story for the fat gay Mexican kids that don't see themselves on screens.

After the sudden death of their sister, two estranged brothers take their nephews on a road trip up the coast of California in an attempt to re-establish a bond, though it might be too late.
